Project partners, supporters, and CRA staff gathered at the Flint Rainbow Club to celebrate the successful completion of the Pere Marquette Railroad project. This 15-year effort, completed last year, is one of the most impactful undertakings in the river’s history, safeguarding nearly 65 miles of downstream Pere Marquette River. The project ensures that future generations can continue to enjoy this iconic blue-ribbon trout stream.
The restoration would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our funders and the commitment of numerous passionate partners. We are deeply grateful for the contributions and dedication that made this transformative project a reality.
